Have not seen any chatter about the Lake Superior plans. Reservations for hotel rooms can be tight this time of year. Who plans to be along the MN Northshore and who plans to operate from the MI UP? I do know that K9PW will be doing some NS recon, that is all I know.

My plan as of today, all tentative. I will have my 10 GHz system and I'm hoping to get down to KM0Ts to borrow his 2w 24 GHz system. I will also have my (non-contest band) 5760 8w, 27 dBi system along, so 5.7, 10 and 24 G. I will not be on the Northshore (NS).
If the NS rovers are starting at Thompson Hill on Saturday AM, I would be on Wisconsin Pt, EN36xo that should for essentially a line of sight path to them at ~ 15km. I would stay there or maybe move down to WI Pt Lot #3 EN46AQ for the day to follow them up the NS but in particular to work any VE4s on all three bands at a distance of around 475 km. Probably overnight in Superior. Sunday I am investigating a spot that is more than 10 miles away from WI Pt. at EN46fs. From there I could cover the NS with fairly short paths albeit maybe some sharp angles for them ... not all their stops may be possible but they are short. That location also touches land for the VE4 path some, but blame the Lake, not me. Always willing to try. 952-836-7288(c).
