Hi Dave.   I have 902 capability and could help.   20 watts and a loop yagi.  I am located close to the Mall of America in Bloomington, EN34it.   West for me is not my best direction due to trees but I have worked rovers out your way on 902.  And yes, you may need some good filtering on 902.  I have a cavity filter on my 902 here, without it the front end is totally blocked with a 890 MHz cell tower a few blocks away.  Roving with 902 its the same story as usually the best VHF rover sites have strong cell tower signal presence.

 Good Afternoon,
I have completed a W1GHZ transverter for 902 with a Minicircuits PA and wonder if there is anyone in the metro, who has a station and time   to work with me testing it. I want to see how it sounds on tx and receives. I live in Howard Lake and would operate portable. I'm confident I have RF out that's clean but not confident of the RX sensitivity.
Let me know if anyone help.
Also looking for (to at least borrow) a BP cavity or two. My portable site is a co-lo'ed cell site and I suspect death and destruction to my front-in, figuratively speaking without additional filtering then I already have.
Thanks
Dave
