Hi Jon,
I am planning on a presentation about antenna modeling with 4NEC2. I'd like 45 min if possible. Thanks, Rob K0XL

Hello NLRS land.
Our 41st annual Aurora Conference will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. It will be held at the same location as the last few years; the West Medicine Lake Community Club, 1705 Forestview Lane North, Plymouth, MN. Full information can be found on our clubs website at NLRS.club.
With this notice I am formally making a Call for Presenters for the afternoon technical program. Each year we like to feature four to six 30" (plus or minus) presentations on a wide range of VHF+ topics. Those topics include antennas, operating, construction, propagation, regulatory, EME, etc. etc. If you would like to present on a topic, now is the time to drop me a note. Or, is you have an idea for something that you would like to hear about, pass that along to me and we will see if we can find a subject matter expert to present on that topic. This is our conference so don't make me work too hard ! While conference registration is still some time away, now is the time to mark your calendar and to provide me with presenter information. Note that Aurora'25 occurs just ahead of the CSVHFS Conference and as such its a great opportunity to work on your CSVHFS presentation in a very friendly environment.
Regarding the Central States VHF Society Conference, it is going to be held on July 24 through 27 in Lincoln, NE at the same hotel that we used in 2019. Conference registration is still a few weeks away but hotel reservations are open. See https://2025.csvhfs.org/index.php/lodging-and-travel/lodging
Later today I will be updating the VHF+ calendar for 2025 that appears on our clubs website at https://www.nlrs.club/#Annual%20VHF+%20Calendar
