Ya, Field Day is this weekend, I know.  Looking past that, CQWW VHF has some new rules in place for their July contest.
   - For those who have sought an analog only VHF contest, your wishes have been granted.  CQWW VHF is now on two weekends with one weekend dedicated to SSB/CW/FM only and the second weekend dedicated to digital only.  Its still just 6 and 2m only.  Also note the shorter time period for each of the two weekend.  Each contest is its own contest.

   - SSB/CW/FM: July 05 - 06

   - Digital: July 19 - 20

   - Both contests begin on 1200 UTC Saturday and end 1200 UTC on Sunday.

   - The assistance rule has been aligned with the ARRL VHF contests assistance rules.
   - The Hilltopper operating category power level is now 100 watts.
I may have missed some things, so as always check the rules at https://www.cqww-vhf.com/
Who plans to be on?   I'll be watching the weather and to see whom may be on as to deciding if I go roving, try out a Hilltopper category, or operate from home.
73, JonW0ZQ
