I sometimes am asked about upcoming Hamfests in our local area..

I no longer have Ham Radio Garage sales as they are far too much work 
for the lousy returns

Instead, my friend John, KC0G creates very nice event lists

Here is a cut-and-paste  of his list:


As requested at coffee last week, here is a list of the upcoming 
hamfests and other ham radio events.

A couple of general sources of information are:

The list below has been compiled from a number of sources, including 
club web sites, and the ARRL hamfest pages. The details of two of them, 
Lake Elmo on 09/13 and Carlton County on 09/27, came to me by private 
email.  They should be posted publicly "soon".  The two dates from the 
Northland Antique Radio Club are those from 2024.  They have not yet 
posted dates for 2025.

I strongly suggest that, one way or another, you confirm that an event 
is taking place before you set off. Cancellations and/or date changes 
are not unknown.  As the time horizon is short, I hope that date changes 
will not happen. Please, I do not want to hear about wasted journeys!
