The State Fairgrounds North and a bit West of downtown St Paul has big empty parking lots on the North side and a bit higher elevation DanN0SPN

I'll be visiting (downtown) St Paul in near future (trailing spouse at an unrelated conference) with a couple days free time. I'm traveling by car so will have the long-in-the-tooth FT100 and an e-factor horizontally polarized 2M/432 loop antenna.
As I've never been to MN before, I'm curious if there is anywhere relatively close to St Paul you'd suggest to set up mobile on-air attempt (not DXing, just trying these bands from a location that's far from the sparsely populated rocky mountain front range), or any other clues as to local operating habits on these two bands (I did see a very extensive beacon list on NLRS website which is encouraging!)
