Hello NLRS land
The 2025 CQWW VHF contest results are out.  See https://cqww-vhf.com/results/2025_cq_ww_vhf_contest_results.pdf for an excellent write-up of this world-wide event.  This is the first year that the contest has been split into two shorter contest weekends; one for digital and one for "analog" modes.
Congratulations to club member Wyatt, AC0RA, for taking first place in the analog-only weekend North American rover category.  Wyatt had 337 on 6 & 2m Qs with 183 grids from rain soaked Iowa.
>From the contest write-up, note that next years contest will have a few rule changes.  Here is a cut & paste:

We are making 2 adjustments to the rules for next year. The first is to allow simultaneous transmission on 6 and 2 meters for Single Operator All Band, Rover and Hilltopper entries. For modern digital modes with their tight timing requirements, this allows some needed flexibility. On SSB/CW/FM, simultaneous transmit can help provide more activity on the bands. The second change is to adjust the contest period to be 1400Z Saturday to 1400Z Sunday. We hope this helps western US and Canada stations with a start a bit later in the morning. Updated rules for 2026 will be posted to the CQWW VHF website soon.

73, JonW0ZQ
