I think you are referring to Big Rivers Regional Trail, 44.867310938675885, -93.17388576296378, EN34JU98CE.   Its been developed since last we were there with a bigger parking lot that is set back more.  You would need to tote/wheel your station in 100 yards or so.  Also its grown some with more restricted views, more west facing than any one other direction.  Its close by enough to check out.

I’m not 100% sure whether it is still available but there was a scenic view over the river on highway 13 around 1/4 mile west of highway 55 and just south of the Mendota bridge  in Apple Valley/Medota Heights.  Some of us used it many years ago for targets to the west.  I worked KM0T there and it was possible to park right by operating positions.

>    • Wilmont, SD.  EN15lj.  Great views from about due north CW to about 140 degrees.  Parking lot operation with bathrooms.  It would require a Grid-expedition by the fixed team with overnight somewhere like Watertown or the casino.  Rovers may need to vary their routes a bit.  Depending on rover routes, the next day fixed site could be the tower, tbd.
>    • Kiester, MN.  EN33en.  No facilities for a long ways.  Beautiful in most directions.  Its ~ 2 hrs from the Twin Cities.  The east/west cty dirt road has low traffic and spots to set up.
