In my section I have an Observatory called the Branched Oak Observatory. They also have a club called the Branched Oak Observatory Amateur Radio Club call sign NØBOO.
They are seeking a 20 foot preferably mesh dish for 1296 Mhz for Earth Moon Earth. Does anyone in your sections have a dish that they would be willing to donate or that we could purchase? In FULL disclosure, I am the Co-Founder and Executive Director for the Observatory. We are a 501(c)3 in good standing. We had a 4 bay 2 meter antenna system that collapsed 2 weeks ago during a blizzard and while we were able to recover 3 of the 4 elements, we are going to downsize it to a 2 boom EME on 2 meters. Our EME expert says we can do better on 1296, hence looking for the dish. We want to have kids bounce their voices off the moon and back and we have an entire program around that experience.
