A somewhat painful showing for two days driving to/from Blue Mound. 15m 
QRP day one and 10/12m QRP day two net me more SOTA/POTA QSOs than the 
VHF contest side. I did get to exercise my station reasonably well for 
some of the 2m multipliers and got some enthusiastic responses to 
calling on 6m phone. This was an informative contest season, but it's 
hard to say how "worth it" it was for my first year of entry (though 
it's obvious Wisconsin hasn't had much of a SOP/A showing in the January 
VHF contest given my record-setting score). At the very least I got into 
a grove with my equipment over these contest efforts (four radios, four 
antennas with two homemade). Expanding that collection to achieve more 
bands would be cool, but I'm not sure I have more than one person in the 
area to contact on the next bands up (33, 23, 13 cm).
