Unfortunately there is a lot of "radio activity" in September !
On September 21 is the Iowa QSO Party, four additional State QSO Parties, the EME contest, and the 10 GHz & Up contest. This year the Minnesota Wireless Association has a big push on with the State QSO Party Club Challenge competition and the MWA is currently leading, see https://stateqsoparty.com/ and https://stateqsoparty.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/SQPCCLEADERBOARD_082424WEBF.pdf .
So for this one year, I am headed to Iowa on Sept 21 to run in their QSO Party as a mobile on the HF bands, so no Saturday 10GHz for me this time. Depending how the group plan comes together I could do some 10 GHz on Sunday. My house to Jim's looks to be about 1' 15" or so so that will need to be figured in.

Hi everyone,
Jim, KØKFC, has been nice enough to offer his QTH in St Croix Falls, W, EN35rj, as the fixed site for the second weekend. Please let him know if you are interested in joining him.
If you want to operate at Jim's and don't have a working rig, let us know. We have loaners for you to use.
I have two rover routes in mind. One is the standard SE MN NE Iowa route starting at East Prosper or Spring Grove and south into Iowa. Probably over night in Oelwein. Then first thing Sunday morning run with the Missouri ops if they are available. Then turn west to US 63 and north into MN. Pretty standard and we know many sights to use. There are sites where we can work the Wisconsin and Illinois stations as well as a few sites to work KMØT and WØLGQ. However, I don't think there are any sites that offer a view toward the Kansas ops unless there is rain scatter.
The second route, and the one that I favor, is to start near Ellsworth, IA, EN32fg and then travel east along US 20 toward Waterloo. There are a number of sites that offer views to the Missouri ops and to Kansas as well as to the east. End the day near Oelwein. Sunday, travel back north as mentioned above.
I have sent an email to the Missouri ops asking about their plans. I will let everyone know when I hear from them. I hope that they will go to Hannibal, MO to operate on one of the days. It's a long drive for most of them so they don't spend the whole day there.
If you want to rove, please let me know.
If you have other routes in mind, also let me know.
I plan to be at breakfast this Saturday. We can talk about it.
