NO NLRS BREAKFAST IN JUNE !!!

Aurora'24 will be held 1 June 2024.  This "would" be the date for the June Breakfast so 
maybe make plans to come to Aurora instead.

Remember: Breakfast is the 2nd Saturday of the month EXCEPT June and September, when it is 
held on the 1st Saturday.  This change is to avoid conflict with the June and September 
VHF Contests  (2nd weekends).

Breakfast locations change between the Golden Corral restaurants in MapleWOOD 
(odd-numbered months) and Maple GROVE (even-numbered months). For details including 
location maps, etc., see the web site (www.NLRS.club), "Monthly Breakfasts."

The  Pizza Party on-site lunch is being offered again this year (nominal cost $10.) *IF* 
you wish to join us.  Otherwise there are a few "fast food" places near by.  Details on 
the web site.    RESERVATIONS for the Pizza Party lunch MUST BE RECEIVED no later than MAY 
30th !  Reservations are made as part of the mail-in  Registration form (also available on 
the web site).  (I'd suggest that to make the May 30 deadline, registration and 
reservations should be MAILED NO LATER THAN SATURDAY, May 25th.  That's under 2 weeks away 
!)

The Technical Program for the afternoon has been published by Janice, KA9VVQ, in a posting 
to the NLRS reflector (13 May) and it looks interesting.  I'm looking forward to it.

Breakfasts will resume as usual in July (at MaplewWOOD - odd month).  Hope to see a bunch 
of you at both Aurora and the next Breakfast.
