[NLRS] Forward: 2024 CSVHFS Conference - Call for Presentations and Papers

 Regarding the 2024 CSVHFS conference to be held in Cedar Rapids this summer, please see below.  Note that if you plan to present at Central States that Aurora is a good place to get the bugs out first (hint hint).

The year 2024 has arrived and it is time to assemble the program and proceedings for the conference to be held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa this summer. It was 41 years ago in 1983 when we first hosted the conference in Cedar Rapids and initiated publication of the conference proceedings. Since then an unbelievable amount of quality technical information has been published in the CSVHF Proceedings – and I want nothing less for the 2024 Proceedings.

As of January 14, 2024, I have two presentations confirmed plus two more invitees “considering”.
 
So please take some time this winter and write up your latest project results and operating strategies. Some general topics of interest include, but not limited to, the following VHF/UHF: Transverters, Receivers, Power Amplifiers, LNAs, Antennas, Test Equipment, Propagation, etc. Also topics of VHF/UHF weak signal operations e.g., Digital Signal Processing, Digital Modes, Contests, DXCC, WAS, VUCC, Roving, Portable, EME – to name a few.

Your topic could be a presentation plus the written paper – or just the paper, if you refer. May 20, 2024 is the deadline for the CSVHF Proceedings.
