The NLRS  Breakfast is at the Maple GROVE location August  10th 2024 (even month).  Its
been a
while since we've been there, as the June meeting was replaced by the Aurora conference
and Business meeting.  We're back to the schedule now.

NOTE: the September meeting will be the FIRST Saturday, 7 September,  to
miss the Sept VHF Contest on the normal 2nd weekend (Breakfast at the MapleWOOD location).

The Maple GROVE Golden Corral location is 13603 Grove Drive, Maple Grove,
MN. 55311. This is in the commercial area immediately north of the I-94/I-694/I-
494 junction in the NW metro.

Check the NLRS web site (https://www.nlrs.club/#Monthly%20Breakfasts) for details,
directions, and maps.

Start time is 0900 and we can run to 11:30 or later.  Depends on how talkative we are.

Its early, but the forecast is for NO RAIN Friday night and Saturday, with some NW wind.
Temps in the morning in the 60's.

As of now there is no planned presentation other than possibly talking about the 10GHz and
Up Contest on the 17th- 18th.  Beyond that we'll have to entertain ourselves.

ALSO, the Presides meteor shower "peaks" on Tuesday-Wednesday (12th-13th) so that will
give us another topic.  If you're set up for digital its a lot easier to succeed on
Meteorscatter than it used to be.  Six meters is by far the easiest, but 2m and even
222MHz are fun also.  432 is harder and 900/1296 VERY hard (at least the last time was on
MS... and SSB to boot).

Hope to see a bunch of you on Saturday.
