Hello NLRS land
Thanks to the hard work by Paul, W0UC and your club officers registration for Aurora'23 is now open.  The link to online registration can be found on our clubs website at
https://nlrs.club/#Aurora%20Conference
Before you rush to the link, here is some important information to first read.
   - There will be a NLRS club business meeting mid afternoon.  In order to conduct business we need club members to attend.  This year, to speed up the business meeting we have decided to post the previous years business meeting minutes on our website for you to read prior to Aurora'23.  You can find the link to the "Aurora22 Business Meeting Minutes" on the clubs website in the same section that discusses Aurora and that has the link to conference registration.   So again, please find that link and read the Aurora22 Business Meeting Minutes prior to June 3.
   - Regarding cost, remember that there are no NLRS membership fees .... best deal in town !  When you register for the conference, the $5 registration cost goes towards paying for the conference facility, and we work hard to make it a break even event.  As such conference attendees should register to support our conference.
   - Wesslund Award.  The Wesslund Award honors Robert (Bob) Wesslund, W0AUS (SK), for his many years of significant contributions to the Northern Lights Radio Society and for his continuous work with mentoring others in the World Above 50 MHz. This award is presented annually at Aurora to recognize those NLRS members who have assisted others in gaining knowledge and access to the bands above 50 MHz.  Nominations for this years award can be sent to any one of the clubs officers.
   - When you register for the conference you will notice an opportunity for a pizza lunch.  During past conferences attendees often had to speed off to find a lunch only to hurry back for the start of the afternoon technical program.  This year, as an experimental run, we are offering up a pizza lunch for the modest fee of $10.  There is a full description of what is being offered for lunch on the website when you register.  Please note that in order to lock in the correct number of lunches that we need to order that we have to close this part of registration down by May 31.  There will be no walk-up pizza sales the day of the conference.
As for the conference itself, the morning hours will feature our antenna range, car-to-car swap stuff, any outside demos (I may bring my rover, others?), uW dishes, and lots of socializing.  Following our pizza lunch inside in the kitchen area, the technical program will start at 1:00 pm with the following presentations planned.
