Speaking of sprints, has anyone heard anything about the fate of the Fall sprints sponsored by the SVHFS?
It would be a shame if these fizzled out - by far the most effective recent rules change I've seen was moving the 6m Fall Sprint to align with the Perseid meteor shower peak.
The SVHFS website overall seems to have gone stale not just regarding the Sprints but for all topics. The Fall sprints do seem to appear on the various random contest calendars, but...?
Did this topic come up at Central States?

Hello all. My name is Aaron in Brooklyn Park and I just joined the club. I love all kinds of radio and would like to explore VHF+ more. I'm short on time but wanted to get this out: Here's what I have:
Icom 7100 (6m 2m 70cm all mode). Anytone 578 (1.25m FM). Antennas: 2m Dianmond yagi. 6m Diamond yagi-esque. 2m/70cm slimjim. Mobile 6m 2m 70 cm vertical.
I'd like to do this weekend's contest for a couple of hours. So I just have 70cm all-mode (I can do SSB, CW, FM, FT8, and more) and 1.25m FM only. What times would be good to get on?
I hope to meet you all soon.
P.S. Try reaching us tomorrow, Friday 5 PM to 7 PM
