[NLRS] Ideas for future NLRS Breakfasts

I'm a bit tardy with this... sorry.
At the November NLRS Breakfast there was some discussion about :
1) rotating the location of the breakfasts on, say, a monthly basis, to perhaps increase 
attendance;
2) changing the time from "Breakfast" to either "Brunch" or "lunch"
3) making the "meeting" - whatever the time - more formal, with short presentations, etc.

In order:
1)  No serious objections in principal, with the comment that the buffet format is 
retained; i.e., restaurants such as Perkins, etc., are not considered to be acceptable. 
The seem to be only Golden Corral buffets open for breakfast.  Also, most other buffets 
appear to be NOT "American" menus... most seem to be Chinese and open at lunch and dinner. 
The other Golden Corral that we could use is in Maple Grove, immediately north of the 
I -694/I-494/I-94 junction.  (The 3rd is in Andover.)  I've attached a map of the location 
and how to get there with this note (I hope... I honestly don't know if the reflector will 
allow it.)  Otherwise, see below.
DIRECTIONS:
>From the junction of I-694/I-494/I-94 take I-94W to the FIRST exit which is Weaver Lake 
Road and go EAST on Weaver Lake Road about 1000' to 83rd Way N and turn SOUTH.  Cross 
Grove Drive into the large parking lot.  The Golden Corral is at the OTHER END of the 
parking lot, ahead of you.  Follow the aisle until you can turn right in the parking area 
in front of the Golden Corral.

2) Moving "breakfast" to either Brunch or Lunch was not considered a good idea.  (I've 
tried to get that done for many years myself, but its never been a popular idea.)  One 
comment that bears thinking about is that lunch time will be MUCH busier than breakfast: 
nosier, slower, etc.  Maybe harder to get tables together.

3) Presentations, etc., might be a good idea ** IF ** someone wants to step up and handle 
the logistics.  (I will NOT.)  There were no volunteers (10 people) from the November 
breakfast.

So.  Lets have a "show of hands" on a couple of these.

1) I PROPOSE that the December Breakfast meet at 0830 in the Golden Corral in MAPLE GROVE. 
Yes, No, or discuss.

3) I PROPOSE that we look for a volunteer to organize short presentations for the 
Breakfast OCCASSIONALLY. It might be a good way to increase attendance.   10-15 minute 
"talks," with pass-arounds if appropriate.  No screens, projectors, etc. although one (or 
more) laptops MIGHT be usable for things that need pictures in addition to words.    Yes, 
No, or Volunteers.
