Hello!
I've been in contact with a new ham in Princeton, KF0JZR. He's had a couple
of threads on QRZ.com about his various issues getting on HF. Apparently, one
guy even loaned him a rig and tried to talk him through it, but he really
needs someone to look over the station in person, make sure everything is
hooked up OK, check the SWR on various bands, and walk him through a couple of
QSO's. He has a rig (FT-900AT, the loaner) and an antenna (DX-CC parallel
dipole). The antenna appears to be set up, and as near as we can tell from
online discussions, it has an acceptable SWR on at least some bands. Here's
one of the QRZ.com threads in question:

If nobody else is available, I could drive up there at some point and check it
out. But if there's someone closer, that would be even better! It sounds
like this guy is extremely eager to get on the air, but he really needs a
little bit of in-person guidance.
