   Barry VE4MA received a message from Jan, Wally's bride that he passed last night.
   I hope Barry can post as well. Wally was a friend of everybody that knew him I think. A better friend you could not find. Loved amateur radio ... LF, HF, VHF, UHF and 10GHz. I SO ENJOYED our 10GHz roving for the 10GHz & Above contests with Wally. We had lots of fun working Dennis NT0V (SK) and Barry as well as others when we could.
   I met Wally for the first time in Aug 1968 when I moved our family 800miles away from the our siblings and parents. Wally and family plus Andy VE4MA and family become FAMILY for us. Sharing family, lives, meals as though we had known them all our lives. Indelible memories of a lifetime.
   Andy and Wally had SO MUCH fun chatting and playing on 432 SSB and I joined right in. About the same time John W0LER and I started nightly 432 skeds between Grand Forks The Cities. 4CX150 at about 100watts and Tilton array.
