Hello NLRS land
Aurora'22 is just one day away, Saturday June 4th. The new location is the West Medicine Lake Community Club, 1705 Forestview Lane North, Plymouth, MN. Full information can be found on our website at NLRS.club. Please consider preregistering using the link found on the website in order to make our paper work a bit easier on the day of the conference. From 9am to noon we will be running our antenna range as well as the usual informal car-trunk-to-car-trunk swapping and socializing. Noon to 1pm is lunch on your own. Starting at 1pm we will be inside for the technical program with the following agenda topics:
* Impact of FT8 on VHF Contesting and Recent VHF Contest Rule Changes W0ZQ
* NanoVNA - The Affordable Vector Network Analyzer K0XL
* Recent Experiences With The WA5VJB Cheap Yagi KC0P
* NLRS Club Business Meeting
* The Pursuit of 222 MHz Worked All States N0AKC
Regarding the business meeting, we have some old and some new business to discuss.
1. Elections. Please let me know if you would like to be nominated for a club office.
2. Vote on the updated constitution and bylaws. You can see the proposed documents via the link on nlrs.club.
3. Our clubs $5,000 CD will become mature. What to do with it.
4. Its now been 10 years since KB9TLV (SK) allowed us to sponsor three plaques for the June VHF contest and one for CQWW VHF. The ten years has run its course.
I hope to see you at Aurora'22.
73, Jon
W0ZQ
