Club: Northern Lights Radio Society

Comments:  Our anniversary was Saturday so most of my operating time was on Sunday.  Fun to play a little casual radio.  I had just rebuilt my 10GHz system with GPS locking and successfully had its first QSO with W0GHZ over a 17 mile path just shooting out of my garage, over the hill and through the woods.  Same path on 5760.   Probably two thirds of my 6m Qs were on FT8 along with maybe one third of my 2m Qs.   Conditions were typical for January with a fair amount of QSB at time.  Best 2m DX was to EM39.  Thanks to KC0P/R & N0HZO/R for roving too.
