The ARRL newsletter has a nice article today on the current quest for 
222 WAS.

There are a couple of errors in it - the first one is that two more 
stations: K1WHS, WA4NJP both completed WAS prior to W5ZN and have 
apparently not submitted paperwork yet.  K1OR worked #50 this past 
Saturday night.  N9HF has worked 49 states so far, lacking only NM. I am 
currently sitting at 47 states worked, lacking MS, NM & NV.  If all goes 
well I'll get MS tomorrow night and plans are in the works for NV late 
this month.

As for the paper for Central States, W5ZN is really the author with Al 
Ward and myself making some minor contributions.  Also note they state 
Central States will be held in Eau Claire, WI - it's actually going to 
be held in La Crosse.
