Disappointed that Ihad only one 10GHz QSO with all the weather. I was sure excited looking at theweather forecast thinking that it was going to be GREAT for 10GHz, but not thecase.
Hard work it was. Iwas so relieved to shut all the blowers and rigs down, THE NOISE! GREAT end tothe contest by working Mel and Carol with no coordination from 2 grids in thelast 35min on 432 and 222 SSB at 298 miles. I only needed one repeat fromCarol. That was VERY COOL. Thanks Mel and Carol!
Thanks to theCanadian crew again: VE4MA, VE4CY, VE4DDZ, VA3ECO and VE3KRP. It would havebeen a bleak contest without those fellows for sure. Notable DX – K2YAZ, W0LGQ,K2DRH, KG0VL. It had been a while for some of these guys to appear in mylogbook.
I have no idea ofthe conditions. “The sample size was just too small”. The Canadian crew werestrong but not too many others.
