I recently built a new 3456/3400 MHz transverter. I'm using a DigiLO and a
W1GHZ transverter board that uses pipe cap filters. The modification is
trivial. I mounted a DIP switch on the DIGILO, which has the LO frequency
for 3400 programmed in, so all I have to do is set the DIP switch. The
other adjustments are done with the pipe cap filters.
I added a WD5AGO preamp and a 10 watt power amp to it. It worked very well
on 3456 a month ago on a Microwave Activity Day. I think it will work quite
well on 3400.
