[NLRS] 222 Sprint for W9FZ/R and KA9VVQ/R

We were using Janice's "Little Red Rover".  We took WB0GGM's Yaesu FT-736
off the shelf and put it to use.  We put an amp on it.  We used an Elk brand
222 beam on a tripod.

 

We set up quite close to the EN34/EN35 grid line.  Next time, we will try to
find a bit more altitude.  We had ok horizons but weren't on a hill.

 

We worked W0GHZ, K0KFC, KA0PQW and N0JCF from EN34 and W0GHZ and N0JCF from
EN35.  

 

We made a sked with KO9A down in EN52 and sent some CW in each direction
with nothing heard in either direction.

 

We went out with hopes of working two stations-so we are quite pleased.

 

We look forward to reading other reports of the evening.
