[NLRS] ARRL/CAC: VHF Contest Proposal(s)

Hi Ron and all.   As the Dakota Division ARR: Contest Advisory Committee (CAC) member I can tell you that the CAC is looking at a range of contest topics, most of them HF related.  That said, the use of digital in VHF+ contesting is being talked about but I can tell you that due to the complexity of this topic that there are no immediate plans tp suggest any rule changes at this time.  The CAC has a lot of work to do to full understand the topic and to weigh in all of our memberships positions.  The idea of allowing one Q for digital and one Q for analog modes is known along with other discussion points.  I suggest for the time being that we allow the committee to work and wait for their leadership to respond to, and that we enjoy your mode of choice as there will be more to follow on the topic.

Hello !! Wondering if W0ZQ ( Hi  Jon ) is openly accepting input on this ? I am open to  the change to 1 contact digital and 1 contact analog per band - most simpilest logging , etc ......  AND for those that are absolutely non digital , I'm not opening the discussion for whining or general complaining , just a SENSIBLE  reply to ARRL's stuff-  73s , Ron KA0RYT
