Had planned to operate from the cabin in EN27 but the flex plate on the truck failed bringing me to a slow rolling halt just east of Motley on Wednesday. It may have been for the best. With conditions being bad there are a lot more local stations to work in the Metro area.
All contacts are FT8. Tried to copy some SSB on 2M but couldn’t make anything out through the noise, here.
Did get SO2R going here so I can keep a eye on 2bands at a time now. Have N1MM setup with two WSJT windows.
The 6M station was a Kenwood TS-590s using a microKeyer with a 4el beam running 50W to 100W.
The 144/432 station was a Icom 7100 using the USB cable with a 5el 144/432 beam. Running 25W to 50W on 144, and 12W to 25W on 432.
Played a little with the 222 transverter I got this spring using my old FT-840 that had been sitting for a few years. Could hear one repeater but got reports of carrier with no audio when I tried working it.
