I have not had a “good” Sept ARRL VHF contest in MANY years.This contest was still not in the league of the contests back in 2004 and 2005,but was a “GOOD” contest here at last. I must admit to far more “seat time”than for a long time, but there was more to it than that.

First thanks to the “Canadian crew”, VE4MA, VE4DDZ, VE4CY,VA3ECO, VE3KRP. Some great QSOs. Very glad you guys could join in. Also BobK2YAZ was back in the log on 6-432 again, Thanks Bob. After that it was therovers to the rescue. KC0P and N0HZO with Qs 2-902 from 3 grids ( 30Qs)and W9FZand KA9VVQ with Qs 6-902 from 7 grids (72Qs)! WOW!!

No Sporadic Es, all tropo. Rough count, about 39 digitalQSOs the rest CW or SSB. A BUNCH of 902 SSB QSOs. What fun!! 902 is such agreat band!!
