We decided not to mess with grid lines and just set up in EN27at where
US Highway 59 crosses into EN27 near Brooks.
Basically it was a very fruitless day with absolutely no propagation on
6 during the 4-1/2 hours we were there. We called CQ regularly on both
CW and SSB with zero results. The satellite passes we attempted resulted
in only partial exchanges and no QSOs in the log. Too bad because there
was one fellow on the last pass with SO-50 who sounded very excited we
were in EN27.
We'll play a little from home tomorrow and maybe find someone who needs
EN18. :>)
