Hi Zack,

Thanks for that update. Yes, bad weather can really make a contest less
fun.

On the rain front, our cabin (where we really need rain) has had numerous
lines and cells approach over the last day but each has mysteriously melted
about 5 miles west of our cabin. Could it be the FZ heat island?

I always feel that we ought to be able to work you from EN43tq because the
distance is about right. So let's hope for Sunday. Saturday is 100 miles
north of there at is a bit far for the bottom 4 bands.

Thanks again for your update. I hope we work and I look forward to reading
about your weekend.

The weather forecast for this area has changed for the worse for tomorrow.
It was originally 30% rain after 2 pm. Now it's 50% chance of
rain/thunderstorms after 8 am. I will have to wait till tomorrow to see what
it actually does, but I don't want to set up antennas for 9 bands on a
hilltop in the rain. I may opt for something simpler, like just 144, 222 and
432 and possibly 50 MHz tomorrow. Or maybe just those bands on Sunday
morning. I have another obligation in the afternoon on Sunday.
