[NLRS] MSK144 Question

As I mentioned in another post, I've been playing around with MSK144, since it
seems like the best bet to work the elusive close in states on 10 and 15. 
I've been calling CQ on 50.260 with no takers, and I left it running
overnight.  Lo and behold, I see that I decoded this overnight:

104515  -8  5.1 1682 &  IW9XTS/P I91HGF/P MP02

Was I really copying Italy on an otherwise dead band?  If so, any guess as to
what kind of propagation was involved?

I am calling CQ on 50.260, and I'm interested to see if I have it configured
properly.  So if you hear me, I'd appreciate a reply, even if you're local. 
I'm in EN34kx.
