[NLRS] 2m today

Hi Mike -

I've been off for a quite a while and this Es season has been an incredible
welcome back. There seems to be at least one Es session on 2m each year.
Sometimes it is open for a couple hours and sometimes it is only a minute.
Like Mike said, you need to be ready for it and then be able to speak
clearly, fast and to the point. If you're quick, you can grab an extra QSO
(or grid).

I've had Es this year as well as tropo to Alabama on 2M. I've heard a few
meteors and I'm getting ready for the Perseids. I can't wait for some
aurora and hearing that familiar buzz!

The magic of VHF! It never gets old!
