Well it certainly was not as good as Thursday morning but signals from K0AWU were still well above normal with SSB usable on this obstructed path.
As Rich has said I noticed quite a bit of chatter on 200 on Thursday morning, and when things are dead I am as guilty as anyone of doing it. I had trouble pulling in stations to work because of the chatter QRM. So please QSY off of 200
I don't know when to qualify doing that myself. Its a place to look for some activity and this should stimulate further activity.....but when conditions could reasonably expected to be UP (as in most summer mornings or late at night) , it would seem to be good practice for local chat.
Until recently I was usually the only VE4 on the bands, so I did not have to QSY as I was the DX !:-)
