Hello Bert,

Let me introduce myself...I was born and raised in southwestern Minnesota, but am currently
living in Huron, South Dakota which is where my wife was born and raised. You can check out
my QRZ.com page for additional info on my hamming, etc.

I was wondering if the Twin City DX Association would allow me to put a for sale item in its
bulletin.

I have a Commander FT-2000 6M linear amplifier for sale and I would prefer to sell it to someone
in the upper Midwest so that I might arrange with the buyer to meet and hand deliver the amp.

I purchased the amp new and it is in excellent physical and electrical condition. I've had
absolutely no problems with the amp which has a pair of 3CX800A7 ceramic metal triodes
in the final and puts out a full 1.5KW. When living in Utah, I used it for making a number
of EME DX QSO's using a 7el. LFA Yagi with no elevation capability. The countries I picked up
on EME helped me achieve DXCC on 6M. We're located in a small subdivision here that
prohibits erection of a tower, so the amp has been gathering dust since we moved here
4 years ago. I'm asking $1,700 for it. My email address is: w7ut at arrl.net <mailto:w7ut at arrl.net> . I can provide
pictures of the amp to anyone who is interested.

Thanks.

73,
Bob, W7UT
