I was watching FT8 all evening. Saw a number of 0's and 7's calling Alaska,
also saw Internet DX spots for WL7N, KL7NC, WL7X, but no decodes here.

Speaking of unexpected Qs, did anyone else take part in the 6m opening to
Alaska and Japan last night? I don't know when it started, but it lasted
until 0730 UTC last night/this morning.

All my 6m antennas were down, but I was still able to work Alaska using my
30m beam on 6m. I was seeing up to 25 Japanese calls per
15 second period on FT8, but was unable to work any of the JAs.
Most of the JAs were -10 to -20; I'm sure that I could have worked some if I
had had one of the 6m antennas up in the air.

I, too, miss the CW and SSB activity, but as Jon mentioned in his note, FT8
isn't all bad.
