[NLRS] VHF @ Field Day this June - possibilities?

I have been suggesting to the Bloomington Amateur Radio Association members
that they start considering plans to operate in the absence of a club Field
Day, and particularly to think about 28 MHz and up operation.
My current plan is to operate FD from home, where I have 10 m, 2 m
(vertical), 222 (FM only) and 432 (vertical, or the beam reluctantly with
stations having azimuths of 225-360 degrees). I'll run QRP, with a
solar-charged battery for most of it, plus some mains-charged HT
batteries. I am preparing to have some type of coordination or mentoring
available on the local repeater(s).
I realize that repeater contacts are not allowed for credit, but if talking
with hams on a repeater gets them more involved, interested, and
experienced, that's the point. Every other weekend has a contest for
experienced ops to rack up a big score, but FD is not about the score.
Perhaps with more activity, people will see more of what can be done on
VHF+.

Bill
