[NLRS] Homebound with scant NLRS activity? New IC-9700 gathering dust?

Has NLRS become so elite that it has forsaken new participants? Okay, re-newbie, despite having been licensed since 1959, with IC-910H and dedicated high gain beams in the 1990s. Current station is modest due to retirement QTH (IC-7610 plus vertical full-wave loop on 6M; IC-9700 plus dual band 13 element yagi at 40ft). I call CQ; monitor PSK Reporter; DX Maps, and check beacons (thanks N0KP/B). Have worked 6M DX, into EU, plus the 2M tropo opening to the SE US on 2M last June with this station.

I operate primarily FT8, but I do have a mic for each rig, can copy CW at 30 wpm, and can readily switch modes on each rig so that the curmudgeons cant' complain. Yes, I heavily operate HF FT8, but frequently check 10M, 6M, 2M, and 70cm. I do check the national calling frequencies and listen for CW activity.

Some of us want your grid square! Get on the air NLRS! We are stuck at home, let make the most of it! Email me, set up a schedule, or monitor the bands. Thanks to those monitoring 6M and 2M thru WSJT-X.

73,

Ed, W0VC
