I figured manually on 6m 52 QSOs in 33 grids, 3 2m QSOs in 3 grids,
totol 55 Qs and 36 grids computes to a score of 1980. Yesterday I made
an ARRL computer version of the log and submitted it and it was accepted
this morning. The ARRL computer response to my submission said the score
was 2067. For sure neither was a great record. 6M contacts were hard to
make with my roof top 24 foot center fed dipole as each distant active
station seemed to hear many responses to CQ. I did work New England,
Maryland, Carolinas, Florida, Georgia, Maybe Alabama, Texas, Mexico, New
Mexico and Arizona, Colorado and Idaho. I did hear distant stations
responding to calls from EN34 and EN52 a lot. A beam would have worked
better here so long as the rotor worked. The rotor on the 2m and 432
yagi pair hasn't worked for a year or more and they are stuck pointed
east. I didn't hear the usual stations on 2m and heard nothing on 432.
