In addition to KA0RYT on 2-meters I also managed to work K0VG on
6-meters. Thanks for the QSOs.
I am well outside the NLRS club circle so this was submitted for
Radiosport Manitoba.

Comments:
Well, that was interesting. N1MM Logger says an operating time of 2:15 but that
is wrong by a significant margin...it was more like 7 hours. Considerable time
was spent CQing on 6-meter CW, 2-meter CW, and 2-meter FT8, with little to show
for it, which is disappointing.
The FT4/8 operation was not as fruitful as I'd hoped primarily because 50.313MHz
was so insanely crowded. It was a rare occasion that I actually worked stations
with signals weaker than 0 or +1. I also lost some FT8 Qs to QSB that, I
believe, could have been successful on FT4.
I was surprised to work so many close-in grids, with EN19/29, EN08/18, and
EN17/27, as well as EN35 in the log. The EN35 QSO was my sole 2-meter FT8
contact. KA0RYT's signal peaked at -4 with my little 7-element Yagi just 10-feet
in the air!
If the pandemic situation is improved by September I hope to be operating the
VHF contest from our VE3 QTH in Kenora, ON (EN29).
