[NLRS] 1296 band

Hi NLRS

I wad wondering what kind of activity there is on 1296 during contests. Looking online I see a lot of info for EME.
I have a TS2000X  which should have 10W on 1296 and a 14el loop antennae. I should be able to get it up between 20’ to 30’.
Is there any hope of making any contacts shooting through the woods from EN27dc?
Eventually I would like to get setup for EME. I do have a decent shot at the moon across the lake at moonrise and above the trees rest of the time.
