Hello NLRS land
The ARRL's 222 MHz & Up Distance Contest runs from 1800 UTC Saturday Aug 1 ending at 1759 UTC Sunday August 2.  Other than the fact that this operating event is 222 MHz and up, there are some other interesting aspects to it.   Your contest score is based upon the sum of all your contacts where each contact is given one point per km distance multiplied by the applicable Band Factor.  432 has a Band Factor of x1, 222 and 1296 is x2, 902 is x4, 2304 and 10G is x6, 3456 and 5.7G is x10, and contacts made on 24G and up are x20.  Also, while there is the normal club competition (ex, NLRS, etc),  anyone can also put together their own team to compete in either the small team or large team category.  Those who compete this way can also have their scores count in the "normal" club completion.  Note that such teams have to be registered prior to the start of the contest so check out the contest rules for this.
Paul, W0UC, has already posted his Activity Spreadsheet.  https://tinyurl.com/AugustUHF2020
Who plans to be active?   Anyone putting a team or two together?   I have some 222 and 432 antennas and a FT100D (20 watts on 432) if someone wants to borrow them.
73, JonW0ZQ
