Thanks Jon

I'll try to answer all the question I've just read from everyone.

First I like my 9700 and it pairs well with the 7300. Both seem to have
pretty good rx. I still hear stuff I can't work running kw. And that
isn't the 1 hit wonders on Ft8 either.

I have never ran 2 wsjtx on one pc so I'm not the guy to ask for that.

For this contest I run one laptop per radio with wsjtx running. Then I
manually do all the logging on the 6m laptop using n3fjp. I try to keep
things as simple as I can so if something quits I can fix it easily. Also
carrying two laptops I always have a spare.

Also note I run both bands same time which is allowed in rover class for
this contest and all others. It's not allowed for single op class in this
contest but you could one 1st seq on one band and 2nd the other. In arrl
contest class doesn't matter you can have a transmitter on every band at
same time.

In rover I do get some interference on 2m from 6m depending on direction of
antennas so I assume truck is messing with things there. At home I use
same exact antennas and never have any interaction. I do use a band pass
filter on 2m.

This setup keeps you busy with both bands going.

Hope this helps answer a few questions.
