Expected operating sites for Saturday are

EN33ws, Fountain T

EN33ox N Harmony There are four possible sites here that are along US 52
that meet the 10 mile rule. Operating site depends on corn.

EN43bm E Prosper

EN43en Spring Grove

EN43gm Eitzen

EN43fi Hanover/Iverson Bridge Road

EN43ig Elon We may decide not to visit this site. It will require some
back tacking to get to the next site. However, Pete has visited this
site in the past and was very impressed. Google Earth pictures look goo too.

EN43ef N Frankville/W Waukon.  Cemetery site we used last year. If corn
in the field then EN43df which is about         two miles SW. This site
is always open but more driving on gravel.

Kind of up in the air from here depending on time and willingness to
keep driving south.

EN43eb  W. Postville or EN43ea N Clermont ( we used this site last year)

The next sites depend on how far south we travel.

If we use EN43eb we could travel West on US52 and look for a site near
Calmar. Lot of possibilities in this area.

If we use EN43ea we can take US 18 toward West Union or back track
toward Calmar. There are a number of sites just north of West Union.
From West Union travel north toward Calmar and use a site in that area
or just North of town.

From Calmar we have the choice of going north on US 52 toward Prosper.
There is one site that Pete and I used a number of years ago that is
north of Decorah. Corn could be a problem. This would probably be the
last site unless we travel west,.

The other option from Calmar is to go to Decorah and take IA  9 west
toward US 63 making one or two stops along the way. I don't want to get
too close the US 63 as that is part of a route I am thinking of using
the second weekend.

Sunday start at Kiester EN33en. Then travel south into Iowa, maybe as
far south as US 18 before turning East. Then south of Mason City along
US18 to Nora Springs or Charles City. Before turning back north and
suing US 218 to come home.

I am hoping we can hit 10 or 11 sites on Saturday, but think 9 might be
about it.

See the attached Google Earth kmz file for the planned sites. The
distance circles are 100 km intervals in white and an extra 50 km in
purple (or with my color vision problems however you see it). Ignore the
33tw, 33ww, 43fr 1 &2 and 32xw sites. There are in the file when I was
looking at EN25vj as the fixed site.
