Like Jon, I'd rather not overnight in a motel somewhere. On the other hand, it's a long drive for me to the rover routes or to Jim's. NLRS Area 10GHz Contest Group.It's been pretty quite so far, not too many ops have indicated their plans for the first weekend.Dates are Saturday August 15th and Sunday August 16th.Here is what we have right now:Rovers:W0ZQ, JonWB0LJC, GaryRoute is planned to be out and back home for Saturday evening. Start near Fountain, MN and travel south on US 52 to Harmony, E Prosper, Spring Grove, Eitzen and then into Iowa ending the day, either near Waukon or Postville. Then returning home with possible stops along the way to work anyone still available.Sunday route is more up in the air. Maybe start south of Rochester and travel south on US 63 into Iowa and then turning to the West. The other possibility is to start a Kiester (between Albert Lea and Blue Earth). Then travel is little way into Iowa before turning to the East.Fixed site: At Jim, K0KFC's, QTH near St Croix Falls, WI.K0KFC, JimWA2VOI, DonnN0KP, DaveWF0T, WarrenOn from home QTH?If you are going to be on the air from some other QTH, please let us know. We want to work everyone.Loaner rigs available if you plan to spend some time on the air.Still waiting to hear from most of you.
