Hello Carl,

Further to what Jon suggested...since you are FM only to a vertical for
222, don't be afraid to try 223.5 FM simplex, you might be able to get a
station that you work on 432 to QSY there or try an occasional CQ on 223.5
- the challenge might be for the station you contact to KNOW their
6-character grid, since that is the required exchange for this contest.

In addition to 1296.1 (+/-) on SSB or CW, you might also try the national
FM simplex channel on 23 cm, 1294.5 MHz, but it has been QUITE some time
since I've found anyone there in a contest.

Good luck in the contest, I hope you find many stations to work (and turn
in a log, please!).
