Hi All -

A fun night of radio last night! This was my first VHF/UHF activity from
the new QTH near Henderson, MN. I'm up on a nice hill, in a quiet
location, and I think it'll do quite well on VHF!

I set up Field Day style with a table on the deck. Thanks to Jon, W0ZQ,
for the 22 elements! I got the antenna up at 20 feet and used Armstrong
rotation. My goal was 25 Q's and 10 mults.

Thanks to the rovers who went out. You kept it interesting and fun! It
was great to hear some stations I haven't heard in years. I learned I
definitely need some amplification and a preamp would really help! I made
it til a bit after 9pm when it was too cool out on the deck.

Over the next year I'll be trying to get my station back together. I've
got 50-144-432 and I'd like to add 222 with amps and good yagis on all
bands! Time (and money) will tell!

Thanks again for a fun evening!
