Despite my very limited station, this was a fun event! Thanks to everyone
who pulled my pipsqueak signal out of the noise. I'll miss the 222 sprint
next week, but hope to be on for 432 on 4/22.

Comments:

5 W, indoor J-pole (vertically polarized) in an apartment down in the urban
canyon of Minneapolis.

Lots of activity tonight! A good mix of SSB, FM, and FT8. It was great to
have
so many stations on, but would have been nice if more of them had left
144.200
MHz.

I was fortunate that my noise floor was pretty low through much of the
contest,
but for a half hour or hour, it went from S0/S1 up to S7. My contest thus
interrupted, I got out the 144/432 MHz beam to do some direction
finding---at
least so much as I could from within my apartment. Within a few minutes I
had
figured out which neighbor I'll need to talk to, and where in their
apartment
the offending device is located. Luckily for me, it was turned off
eventually
and I was able to resume the contest using modes other than FT8.

Thanks to all the stations who got on! This was a fun contest with all the
activity.
