Weather permitting I will be on from home at EN32GH on 6m, 2m, and 432
CW and SSB possibly some FM on 2m late Sunday for local contacts. The
VHF antennas are not capable of being rotated or at least the 2m and 432
rotor isn't moving. The 6m antenna is a 21 foot center fed dipole
between a couple tripods on the house roof. One tripod holds the 2m and
432 beams that are pointed east. I hope to work W9FZ and KA9VVQ working
around the EN21, EN22, EN31, and EN32 grid corner on Sunday, that's
about 50 miles air line from here so signals off the sides of the beams
may be workable.

Right now the Saturday forecast is for thundershowers all afternoon and
evening and I won't connect outside antennas to the rigs if I hear
thunder. The Sunday forecast is for warm and dry and sunny all day
Sunday except very late evening when more thundershowers can arrive.

I'll use the CW beacon mode of the FT-857ds to call CQ on all the bands
in use but I can get nearly as good a distance on SSB as on CW. EN52 has
been workable with this set of antennas for a couple years. I'll sure be
wishing for sporadic E on 6m to allow working New England, Florida,
Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Colorado and other states in those
directions. I'll have 100 watts on 6m, 50 watts on 2m and 20 watts on
432 IIRC correctly. The 2m beam has a measured gain of about 10 db and
the 432 beam about 12 dB.

I'll be sitting on 144.200 a lot as well as 50.125 and after making
contacts on 144.2 probably go to 432.100 but can do other frequencies to
accommodate preferences of the station I'm working.

73, Jerry, K0CQ EN32GH.
