Ron - sounds like you had a productive weekend.

Was originally going to host a multi-op here for the contest, but that
ended up falling apart as all the prospective participants ended up with
conflicts, so I was on by myself.  I just finished putting up a new 4 x
38 element array on 432 and 2 x 23 element array on 222, so spent a fair
amount of time on those bands and not as much time on 2M.  I ended up
with 29 QSOs on 2m and 11 QSOs on 432, including working a single yagi
station KB7Q who was portable in DN82.  No QSOs made on 222 - not sure
if I am not hearing there or if conditions just bad, etc.  The problem
there is there are not really any "big gun" stations available for an
*easy* QSO.  Been trying to run with N9HF in Florida to get him WI on
222 and am now in the hunt to try and complete WAS on the band (still a
LONG way to go).

Some new initials were worked on 2M, but otherwise nothing overly
extraordinary there.  I did end up with a new state (VA) and two new
DXCC countries on 432 (Czech Republic and Bulgaria).  Overall I am
pretty happy with the new 432 array; need to spend more time on 2M next
month.  Hope to work out any kinks there might be on 222.

> Hello . I participated this weekend in the ARRL EME contest ( 50 - 1296 weekend ). My QSO count was 46 on 144 MHz using a single modified 17B2 , 1.5kw and my TS2000X . Also , a notable mention is 1 QSO on 432 using a single Directive systems new FO25 and 50 watts !!! ( Barefoot FT991 directly thru 51 ft of LDF4-50 ) . The 432 QSO was completely random . All EME QSOs were using JT65b . I did not complete one of the 432 QRO amps ( aka "FQA Special " ) but will be putting RF into it this week or so ( limited stash of high power T/R relays ). I do have pictures of the 432 QSO if anyone is interested - email me direct . It seemed that EME conditions were much better on the Saturday night moon pass along with higher activity noted too . I seen and heard Charlie N0AKC was active but couldn't get an EME decode separated from his tropo ( otherwise I would have called him via EME -did in past years with W0XG and Dennis NT0V ). There was no other locals on 2 m except a guy in EN36 tryin
