We looked at a prototype for this at Microwave Update. It is a nice looking piece of kit. It would be great for either DEMI or someone to offer a modular external matching amp to make this truly versatile as having a slew of external single-band amps whilst flexible gets to be a bit cumbersome.

>> The DownEast website has some updated information regarding their long talked about new transverter. See https://www.downeastmicrowave.com/product-p/vuxvert.htm and make sure to click on the PDF link for additional information. Covers 2m through 1296 (5 bands), 28 MHz IF, 1 watt out with a 2 dB NF. They expect their first production run 1Q20, target price of $500 (+/-), and it appears that they are now taking preorders .... see the PDF file for full details.
